How To Make Your Own Yogurt

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of yogurt (as yeast)

Yogurt recipe

  1. Boil the milk while stirring, and slowly pour into a pot or a jar. Cover and cool until tepid.
  2. Put your pinkie finger into the milk and count until 20, if it is bearable (not scalding), whisk 1 tablespoon of yogurt with 2-3 tablespoons of milk and add into the tepid milk. Mix together, cover and let sit for 3 hours. Uncover and check to see if the yogurt is ready. When ready, uncover and let sit for half an hour, then refrigerate.
