Rice With Vermicelli

Ingredients
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons of barley vermicelli
- 3 cups of beef stock (1 1/2 cups of beef stock for 1 cup of rice)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Directions
- Wash the rice, sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of salt, and soak for 20-30 minutes in tepid water.
- Fry vermicelli in oil until it turns yellow. Add 3 cups of water and salt, and boil.
- Add sieved rice, stir and cover.
- Boil for 2-3 minutes, then lower the heat and boil until the water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes. Stir and partially uncover for a short while.
